Local Outreach

Interim Local Outreach Coordinator (Part-time)

The part-time Interim Local Outreach Coordinator works with limited direction, coordinates the Love Lansing monthly initiative (which occurs on the second Saturday of most months) by designing and implementing administrative systems/operating procedures and facilitating effective relationships with local partners. Coordinates all aspects of the monthly serving opportunity with identified partners. Works in conjunction with other Trinity ministries to assure that coordinated, cooperative and complementary ministry proceeds. This position will report to our Executive Pastor and will be staffed September 2019 through May 2020. 

Love Lansing Christmas Seasonal Assistant (Part-time)

The part-time Love Lansing Christmas Seasonal Assistant assists the Executive Pastor and Local Outreach Coordinator (Interim) as needed in the planning and preparation of Trinity Church’s annual Love Lansing Christmas event.  This position will report to our Executive Pastor and will be staffed September 2019 through December 15, 2019.

 

Children and Students

High School Coordinator (Part-Time)

The High School Coordinator collaborates and operates as a critical part of Trinity’s Children and Students ministry team to implement the Mission, Vision and Values of Trinity Church’s overall goal to “Glorify God and Make Disciples by Awakening People to Full Life with Christ.”  This position engages students by promoting life-shaping relationships and connections with teens and adults, as well as facilitating life-changing experiences through the vehicle of excellent and innovative student programming.  As an ambassador for high school students, the High School Coordinator seeks to, and helps, embed students into the life of Trinity Church through service, gatherings, and events.

This regular part-time position is budgeted at 30 hours per week with requirements for leading and facilitating the Crosswalk program with little direction and assisting with other age related ministries like TheBridge under the supervision of the Director of Children and Student ministry.

Children & Students’ Ministry Coordinator (Part-Time)

Collaborates with directors and ministry staff to cultivate an exciting and caring, learning environment where children and students are eager to come and participate. Provides program and administrative support to paid ministry staff and volunteers to ensure that ministry programs are operating effectively and efficiently and goals are accomplished.  Provides oversight of the Children & Students’ ministry welcome, registration, and follow up process. Provides support and limited supervision of routine or special events for individual ministries.  Works in conjunction with other ministries within Trinity Church to assure that coordinated, cooperative and complementary ministry is provided. 

This regular part-time position is budgeted at 20 hours per week with requirements to support individual ministry work through administrative detail tasks, including but not limited to responding to telephone inquiries and email correspondence; maintaining the data base with attendance, event scheduling, and contact information for families and volunteers as well as processing accounts payable for each area of ministry.

Children & Students Event Coordinator (Part-Time)

Collaborates with Director of Children and Students’ ministry staff to create, plan, execute and cultivate exciting, or creative, or spiritually transformative, or community building events (depending on the nature of the event) where children, students, or families are eager to come and participate in programs or activities. Recruits, trains, and builds teams of volunteers to execute events.  Ensures that ministry goals are accomplished by providing events that are operating effectively and efficiently.    

This regular part-time position is budgeted at 20 hours per week with requirements identifying requirements and expectations for each event associated with the Children & Students’ ministry. Arranges details for the events following ministry guidelines. And then executes the event following a detailed outline of the event and event needs. 

Preschool & Elementary Large Group Coordinator (Part-Time)

Oversees development and implementation of curriculum for all preschool and elementary large group teaching and worship environments.  Organizes and oversees projects for volunteers who assist with curriculum preparation.  Works closely with the Director of Children to implement ministry goals through large group environments in a consistent and coordinated manner.

This regular part-time position is budgeted at 20 hours per week with requirements for implementing the teaching schedule set by ministry directors and maintains a volunteer teaching schedule for preschool, K-2nd, 3rd-4th, and TheLoop large group teachers.

 

Gathering

Student Worship Coordinator (Part-Time)

Provides overall coordination and administrative assistance of student ministry musical worship.  Administratively plans and coordinates regular and special student gatherings.  Communicates and coordinates departmental needs to paid staff and volunteers.  As directed, works in conjunction with the Children & Students’ ministry to assure that coordinated, cooperative and complementary ministry is provided.

This regular part-time position is budgeted at 28 hours per week with requirements and expectations to artistically and administratively coordinate worship sets for Impact (7th-8th grade), Crosswalk (9th-12 grade), and in the future TheLoop (5th-6th grade), under the direction of the Director of Gatherings (formerly Director of Creative Arts).
