“Reading is an Adventure” Night at Gardner International Magnet School really was an adventure for students, parents, and Trinity volunteers alike!
Students listened to a YouTube reading of the book, The Dot, by Peter H. Reynolds, while designing their own dot artwork. But, this is no ordinary ‘Dot’. Once students completed designing/decorating their ‘Dot’, Trinity volunteers helped them take it one step further using the Augmented Reality App, Quiver, to bring their 2-D design to 3-D life.
To add to the adventure, participants were invited to roast marshmallows and create their own s’mores! For many, it was their first time making or eating s’mores!
